Sorry it's been so long since my last post folks. So much has happened over the last few months. Since November the first, I've been pastoring at HopeDivine Pentecostal Church in Cairns, and that in itself has been a massive jump in my time commitment. Family of course remains a high priority, and we had my parents, Kerri-Sue & Kristen staying with us as well. All of this has meant that my blog has been neglected a little. But I'm hoping to turn that around, and get back into it a little more regular like.
We exercise our faith, when we diligently seek the Lord. Diligent means to be conscientious in our approach to Jesus. We come before him consistently, and we come before him first. And seek? Well the underlying word there in the Greek means that we crave, we demand, we search out. To me, all of these words mean that we exercise our faith, when we don't give up, we keep leaning on Jesus, and we keep waiting on him, and we realise that all our hope is in Jesus, and Him alone.
And so I'm learning to lean. I'm leaning, learning, and waiting. And if you are in the middle of something in your life right now, can I encourage you to lean on Jesus? Don't wait for the doctors report, go lean on Jesus. When you put your application in for that new job, or new house, ask Jesus to let His will be done in your life. Not sure which way to turn? Look up and lean on Jesus. Lean on His Word, because you CAN trust him.
